Survivalcraft 2.2 doubled world height, and the data files have become too huge. In the last post I told you that we need a more efficient way to save the world data. The old way with a button that changes mode on every click is now too confusing, with so many game modes. There’s also a new UI for game mode selection. Keep in mind that there’s still “Harmless” below it, and it gets all these benefits too, on top of what it already has.Ĭhallenging mode difficulty stays unchanged. Please let me know in the comments if you think something else needs to be made easier for this new default game mode. Player will get one cooked fish on game start.Dangerous animals will spawn less frequently.Player will be able to place blocks when in the air.Player will be more resilient to injury (25%).Player will be significantly less susceptible to cold. Here’s what will be easier in “Survival” mode, compared to “Challenging”: “Challenging” (the current default) is the more difficult. It’s simply called “Survival” and will become the default game mode. To fix it, there’s a new game mode coming in 2.3. The apk-modding-app will do the work of replacing the files and resigning the apk.I have read your comments about the game difficulty.Recompile the content by putting the folder to SCPaker.dae files and make textures with GIMP with a "!" before the name (example: !Duck.png, don't forget to add an alpha channel in the textures because it will not work!) and replace the original files with your modded files. In the decompiled Content folder make notepad++ to modify the database.xml and make models in blender.-make the desired mods through the pc.(Furthermore a tip: If you open large text files you should consider to open them in notepad++ or Excel / libre office calc) This tool is quite useful for some little mods.

There is a tool named ( ) which is able to unpack the Content.pak and to repack it after modding. If it isn't rooted get an app backup and use the backed up copy. If you have Survivalcraft installed on your phone you will find it under "System> Apps" if your device is rooted. However, if you want to mod other versions of Survivalcraft it would work analog to this tutorial. Here is a guide on how to mod the Android Version of Survivalcraft. Mods for Survivalcraft are a highly requested feature.
