Having originally played the game on Xbox One X and more recently PS4 Pro, I’m quite impressed with this Nintendo Switch conversion despite some technical issues.

As is the case with many Bandai Namco Entertainment games, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has also gotten a late Nintendo Switch port at full price packed with some DLC and a few extras. This release includes both parts of the DLC A New Power Awakens and some Nintendo Switch-exclusive features. It's just that he may be more reliant on assists due to him being a fairly honest character.Īfter once being an auto-include on basically every team, this version of Vegeta doesn't see nearly as much competitive play now, but that doesn't mean he still can't succeed on all skill levels.Originally released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC back in January 2020, the action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch in the form of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set. Super Saiyan Vegeta can put in some real work once he gets going. His attack range may be stubbier than Super Saiyan Goku's, but the buffed normals and flying kicks can easily help make up for that. Most people will likely recognize him for his rapid fire beam assist, and luckily for Vegeta fans, it still remains one of the most useful in the game for easy combo extension and lockdown. In DBFZ, SS Vegeta is a decently-rounded jack of all trades fighter, which makes him great for players learning the game and well beyond. Vegeta of course comes packing his iconic blue and white battle suit as well as the spiky yellow hair you expect from being a Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan Vegeta was included as part of the original 24 playable characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ when the game released in 2018.Īlthough Vegeta first appeared earlier on in Dragon Ball Z's story, his Super Saiyan form pulls mostly from the prince's Android / Cell and Majin Buu sagas of the series.
